Whether you are a tenant or an owner, occupying or non-occupying, multi-risk housing is mandatory. 

  • If you are a tenant, the law obliges you to insure your home. Indeed, if you are not insured and you are responsible for damage, you will have to assume on a personal basis the reimbursement of damages and victims. 

  • If you are an owner-occupant or non-owner, you must take out personal insurance to cover your liability to neighbours, potential tenants and the condominium.
