The bonus-malus is a legal indicator common to all insurers allowing the auto insurance premium to be adapted at each annual due date to the driving behavior of the subscriber.

The idea is to make the drivers responsible for claims responsible by increasing their contribution and vice versa, to reward the caution of motorists who have not caused claims by reducing their premium.

A claim-free year allows you to increase your bonus and therefore reduce your insurance premium. On the contrary, being responsible for a claim inflicts a penalty on you and may cause your premium to increase.
